How Are You Allocating Link Building Strategy?

Hey guys, im curious to know how each of you spends their time link building in terms of allocating different tactics. I.e. 30% article writing, 20% social bookmarking, 10% buying links, etc.

Maybe share some results...things you'll be doing different.

    I do not prefer buy links as I have burnt my hand earlier (paid $50 for 6 months of PR 5 and after one month my link disappeared). So I will hire someone to start building links for me and I will check his/her work and pay for that.

    If the work is good than they get bonus as well.
