Question about promoting an article on a site you don't own?

What's the best way to go about this? I've dugg, delicious, stumbled, facebook, twitter...what else can I do?

    You can write some related articles about this article and post them to your blogs and by this way you can make more backlinks for it. Also you can submit it to other social bookmarks too in addition aboves.

      How about writing related articles using the same keywords that have been targeted and submitting to Ezinearticles, and a few other article directories. In the resource box you could point back to the original article you are trying to promote.
      And don't forget about WEb2.0 as well.
