I just started doing profile backlinking just to diversify my portfolios. I always make sure to make a nice profile and add a few relevant posts (contribute).

I have noticed like warrior forum a lot of forums offer a section where you can make blog posts.

Would it be helpful, for seo, to add a blog post with some links in there. Or is it just a waste of time? Assuming it's a do follow page.
