How often does it usually take for Google to 'award' your website with sitelinks? I only started my website a few months ago and it's already got sitelinks. Is this normal?

It doesn't relate to the age of domain. It relates to the structure of your internal links ad Google says. You should make your links somehow that Google finds them easily.

@Mwesty - I assume the sitelinks are showing up for a branded keyword. I think that is pretty fast.

Not sure if you're interested--and maybe you already know--but you can suggest to Google which sitelinks you want shown in the search results in Webmaster Tools: www.google.com/webmasters/tools/
