Content + Links = SE Traffic. SEO really is that simple.

Content structure is pretty big one I've found. A well organized site can help you get those cool category style links in Google quicker. Also, age is also a big one I've found, but that of course can only be built over time and is the easiest to accomplish.

So should i worry about the domain or just focus on SEo'ing the long tail keywords first page on each.

        They are being polite.

There are a whole lot of things we'd like to say.

The did give you a decent answer: content, backlinks.
With content goes site structure. Worrying about a domain is not SEO,
no matter how many ways you slice it.

Just did a search for teeth whitening.
        yourdentistryguide.com
        teethwhiteningreviews.com
        3dwhite.com
        wikipedia
        britesmilewhitening.com
        yelp.com
        ladentist.com
        sundds.com
        dramaticsmiles.com
        dental-resources.com

Looks like google skews the results for local types. I am in
the LA area. Point is, it should answer your question. None of
these had anything close to domain.com/keywords
It was all content, all authoritative, even localized. I guarantee most people
        would get different results.

Forget Santa. I wanna find that google guy and ask for a pony.

      This.

If the title was "I have a bunch of SEO questions", I'm sure the response would have been better compared to trying to trick people.

How about meeting the Google guy once more and peeping deep into his brain, with some word that spells differently from asking how google search algorithms work?

Sorry, but talking straight helps. I would suggest you change the title to what you are looking for and thus help others spend their time looking into the things that they are interested in.

You are welcome to share your experience about meeting someone from some place like Google but with the right context, and possibly in the off-topic subforum because of the nature of the interaction that you have had.

I have a list of about 10 long tail keywords in the niche i want to get into i will be registering a domain once i get some feed back from here i already have an idea but still gonna let some warriors put some input before i get going.

I want to rank categories for the same site. Some have different categories in one site but first page for each keyword.

Now what should i do should i pick a competitive keyword for my domain to dominate in the long run say 6 months. Or just focus on any domain keyword an worry about ranking each long tail keyword.

    Ex. Teeth Whitening.com

Long tail Keyword is "Teeth Whitening At home tonight"

Would look like this --> teethwhitening.com/teethwhiteninigathometonight

Does the domain matter if your going after long tail keyword?

I clicked on this thread expecting to hear about a conversation with a "Google Guy." In return, I got...well, nothing really.

I'm interested though. What was Google Guy eating? Was he wearing a blazer? Who was he dining with? A Google Gal? Do you think they'll have "Google Babies?"

      Jim Henson's Google Babies.

He was probably eating all our money sites and pooping out adsense earnings. Just my guess.
