So i want to get into a niche which is very competitive an i want to go for long tail keywords i have already found about 10 long tail keyword in the same niche that i want to hit.

Should i build one site an go for categories in that site build 10 categories an rank each long tail keyword like Ex. teethwhitening.com/getridofyellowteeth

This is one of my Long Tail Keyword as an example....
"get rid of yellow teeth" an 9 others like this but should my domain name have a certain keyword like teethwhitening an eventually rank for it in the long run or just focus on ranking any domain with long tail keyword as my goal?

In the example above, the yellow teeth anchor-text points to the same blog with a similar/related article (yellow teeth). The teeth whitening anchor-text points to the same sites index page because the main keyword for that index page is teeth whitening.

The yellow teeth anchor-text URL might look like this.

      hxxp://www.somewebsitehere.com/yellow-teeth/yellow-teeth-are-ugly/

Just don't go crazy & anchor-text the entire article.
Okay i understand the above thank you very much...now my friend said to build different categories in one site an have 5-10 unique articles in the category related to that topic but for all ten keyword have a category in other word 10 categories with 5-10 article is that a good idea?

an what do you do for backlinks personally i seen alot i want to know what you can refer me to or solid advice. I can't mess this site up so i want quality but still software to automate. Thanks again.

If you was to create an internal or external link, always make sure you include anchor-text, your example might look like this ( Yellow Teeth ). This also depends on how you setup permalinks.

Think of each individual category as a folder to hold related keywords (article/page titles).

When creating backlinks, I make them all by hand.

I always look at my competitions links, chances are anyone on page #1 or #2 is trying to rank for the same keywords, & has already done most of the hard work (finding backlinks). Simply pick all the highest PR backlinks & copy.
So you backlink to your article or categories? I understand there are article distributions out there that's you write a article an it kind mixes it etc point is it sends your articles out but when doing high PR sites link to the category right?

How do you so this..."Simply pick all the highest PR backlinks & copy"

an yes teethwhitening.com is an example.

          Thanks.

I setup my sites URL structure like this:

      1) www.mycarsite.com/yellow-cars/my-blog-post-1/

      2) www.mycarsite.com/blue-cars/my-blog-post-2/

      3) www.mycarsite.com/red-cars/my-blog-post-3/

The categories are (red cars, blue cars, & yellow cars).

Then I anchor-text my backlinks like

      1) blog post keyword 1

      2) blog post keyword 2

      3) blog post keyword 3

      Like this.

      1) Go to Yahoo Explorer & search your competitions external backlinks.

      2) Download the CSV file from the link above

      3) Open the CSV file inside Open Office (free)

      4) Sort the PR (page rank) column by highest PR, keep the good backlink URLs, & check to see If you can copy them for your own site.

      5) Save as a text file (.txt)

You can do this for any site on the net to get backlinks.

Another tip that goes along with this method of finding high PR backlinks. Just about any EMD (exact match domain) site on page #1 has a good chance of having a few high PR backlinks from blogs etc...

Something like (example) cheapcarforsale.net, cheaplaptopsforsale.net, etc...
WOw man i thanked you like 6 times right now..

Okay i understand it now much better so if my long tail keyword is "Teeth whitening after coffee" it is now one of the ten categories in my site. And i need 5-10 articles/posts in that category to rank this long tail keyword for it to be in first page of google for those keywords. (of course submit articles to directory's an other places to get backlinks to each ((post)) or ((category))? to rank high or first place.

Ex. the anchor text with "teeth whitening after coffee" will direct to http://www.teethwhitening.com/teethw...fee/Blogpost#1 (or just the catergory teethwhitening.com/teethwhiteningaftercoffee) Or any article/post in that category. (A Bit Confused sry)

hope i am making sense here.

Really you should be trying to keep the category names as short and precise as possible. Like the example in my last comment (red cars, blue cars, & yellow cars).

Maybe this will make more sense?

          Example:
          1) www.mycarsite.com/yellow-cars/gov-proves-yellow-cars-are-unsafe/

          2) www.mycarsite.com/red-cars/paris-hilton-buys-red-porsche/

Notice how the category keyword yellow cars is in both the category & the blog post title/url.

The goal should be to rank the page not the category, however it's the category that ties all the related articles together. Well, that & internal linking with anchor-text.
I thanked you again but yes it made sense my goal is to to rank the page your right but the long tail keyword of course. My concern is when backlinking do i send the link to the domain teethwhitening.com or teethwhiteing.com/teethwhiteningaftercoffee or teethwhitening.com/teethwhiteingaftercoffee/blogpost1 when i backlink whst should i be worrying about or don't matter if enough backlinks to domain long tail keywords should rank.

IMO making categories with those keywords is a good idea and it can help your ranking a lot. I suggest you to do it. Also as your domain has a part of each of those keywords, its very probable that you rank high with doing right seo works.

    Hey,

there´s waiting a lot of work to optimize this
    whole project man..

I´d suggest you use your chose keyword in your domain,
in your header, categories, and also fully optimize for it
    in the post.

Make sure to do some researches before you pick one,
because you want to check how much traffic it gets,
    the competition and more.

    Hope this helps,

    Gerald

All good advice in there scoopy - one suggestion that I've found works well is when establishing your backlinks go for deep pages rather than root domain - so tie one of your long tail phrases to a the same page title on that primary domain and then use something like socialposter.com to link to that page using the keywords on that page title as the anchor text. If you keep doing this over time with all of the related phrases, you'll find you begin to rank for the primary phrase as well - especially if that phrase is in the domain name.

    Cheers

Yes. Building links to inner pages should help to boost index page results if they are relevant.

    Good Luck
