Get Your Website Indexed Within 24 Hours

Here is a neat little trick that I use to get any of my sites indexed within 24 hours. It takes about 15 minutes to do, and I have gotten my sites indexed with 24 hours every single time I have used this method.

1. Set Up Website
I run all of my websites with Wordpress, so the first thing that you have to do is install Wordpress. If you are using Drupal, or any other CMS, you need to set these up. If you are running some basic HTML site, you should also upload that.

2. Install Plugins
Here are the plugins that I use for every blog:
All in One SEO Pack
Contact Form 7
Dagon Design Sitemap Generator Plus
Easy Privacy Policy

3. Get Backlinks
Digg your website
Enter Website - http://www.cubestat.com/
Enter Website - Website visitor information and Value

4. Ping Everything
Go to all the websites that you just got a backlink from and enter them into here: Ping-o-Matic!

And, you are done

I've performed similar steps before and it does work. Very quick turnaround time on site indexing.

What you need is a link from an authority site to get indexed fast.

Here's a tip. Buy yourself a PR5 site. It doesn't have to set you back much. A couple of days ago there were 4 PR5 and 15 PR4 domains on Godaddy auctions closeouts. I bought a couple for $8 each. You just have to keep an eye on it. There are regularly good high PR domains for sale here, though I've found they tend to be best at the end of the week. Otherwise invest $100 - $200 in a good authority site and then you can put your link on the home page, ping it and you'll be indexed in hours.

Yes some very basic steps that one have to perform to get indexed the site quickly.

Just wonder webmaster tools not included in your list of steps, any specific reason.

No specific reason. I usually wait about a week or so until I write some articles for my site.

So I can't say either way if that helps speed up the indexing process or not.

Here is another tool to use:
        Public timeline - Identi.ca

Just sign up for an account and "tweet" about your site. Get a backlink from a high PR site.

Actually if your running wordpress I would use this sitemap gen WordPress › Google XML Sitemaps « WordPress Plugins

Submit your sitemap through google web tools and thats really all you need to do. Backlinks and social posts ofcourse help alot too.

As I replied to another post earlier today, that seems to be a bunch of steps. I've been rocking the FeedAge feed submit and a quick digg submit and I'm usually indexed within 24 hours. Having the Sitemap XML plugin for wordpress helps I do believe as well.

well, it's good to have the steps if it needs to go fast! It might also help with the march up the search engine ranks...

Another tip: Twitter! If you have a few thousand followers, you can easily get page rank 5 for your Twitter profile, so you can just put your new domain in your profile for a few days for an instant index and boost!

Wait. How do you get a PageRank 5 from just getting a few thousand followers? Damn where the hell have I been?

I was really surprised myself when I first found out about it (heard something about it and checked my account, and surprise! :-)

In fact, I know some people who have pagerank 6! But that takes some doing.

Don't know for sure what else goes into that equation, but I'd make sure it's a "real" account with "real" followers and not a spammy accout.

          It's worth it, clearly!

This was a great post and with great responses. I am really interested in how helpful the IMT Website Submitter site is. I have several "profile" pages that I can see some real benefit to using that site. Nice tip on the twitter profile also. I have a site that has been a bear to get indexed. I have done the standard. Submit to digg.com, webmaster tools, etc. Just won't index. Maybe this will help. And yes, I know I can be very impatient when it comes to indexing a new site.

So with the submitter site I guess I can do a fiverr gig for 2000 backlinks and then over deliver. LOL, just a quick thought.

Here's what I do with all my Wordpress sites. After adding the plug-ins (including All in One Seo and Google SiteMap Generator) I create a link from two of my aged sites (PR4 and PR3) then I just use Is My Site Indexed? - Is My Site Indexed? Find Out With Just One Click! and I go through all the site links at the bottom of that page (whois, Alexa, quantcast, cubestat, zimbio etc). Has never failed me yet. I dare say it would work with the links from the aged domains too. If I have time I'll add the sites to http://www.google.com/webmasters/ and ping the URL with http://www.pingomatic.com as well. My sites are usually indexed within 24-48 hours. My record is 10 minutes.

How effective is ping? I used to use it to ping our RSS feeds but I could never find a way to assess its effectiveness, i.e where our posts within the feeds were being picked up. Is there a way to guage this?

I simply got my domain name registered, and on wordpree. Then put the site in my profile here...and 24 later it was indexed!

      Then I continued building etc

I believe pinging works only form some websites. If Google doesn't want to index a page, if you ping it several times, Google crawls it but it doesn't index this page. Its just an alert for Google that this website has new pages and if you like, please index it
