I used to put just below the header. IT works the best. Use wide rectangle (336X228) for the best CTR. Don't forget to blend the color of your ad with the webpage.

Use ad channel to track the CTR. It should give you the idea which works best for your website.

I really like using ads within the context, in-line.

For me, the one that I like the most is the one that blend in by using the same element that is on the page. After you stand it out with your ad copy.

Putting them in between paragraphs is what I do. It makes them seem more like a part of the page rather than an advertisment.

Yes, IN-LINE adsense blocks I believe have the best CTR rates, at least for me! I still dont use it all the time, depending on the site and content structure but it is the best way to get that click I believe.

    Above the fold

On the right hand side of the page

Both these have worked for me.

I advise you put it in between pages/posts. A lot of people will think it's apart of the page. Basically that's what you want, you want to advertise, but without people knowing you're advertising.

    Simple concepts make money.

the best sopt for adsense if you dont want to miss and confuse your visitors is either at the top of the page or on the left and right side. As some new people to website world will find it to be a site full of nothing but adv and will skip your site increasing the bonce rate.........
