Once you have gotten enough posts in this forum, you will be able to add your signature to the bottom of your posts.

Then start contributing far and wide.

People who enjoy what you have said will click your link to see your website or offer.

And with each new post, you will have one more link back to your website.

Just be careful to always contribute to the community in a positive way, because those who abuse the system are quickly ferreted out and destroyed.

Personally I use article marketing. Think of it this way, if you put a link on some blog you will only be getting 1 backlink. However, in article marketing, an article might be getting TONS of views! Now imagine if you had dozens of articles out there...

article marketing is great, most wf members will recommend ezine articles, a great place to start, just make sure you follow their guidelines and you should get your account upgraded quickly will will ensure you your articles accepted faster then others =)

Also with backlinks, you want to aim for long term quality backlinks (which is why most people recommend article marketing). Also you want to ensure you build backlinks over time, and not in one big quick batch, google will either ignore them, or discount them greatly.

Well seo is not something that should be viewed in a quick fix, fast paced sort of solution. You are very right links and article marketing is a very good start as well as forum contributing and blogging.

You do not want to fall for any of these thousand links for $99 offers because they are poor quality links and if anything they will get you a begitive effect on google. You need to be looking for quality anchor text do follow backlinks to your website. Try to not pay for them and get them organically from forums and directories. try to set a small target of 5 links a day and as the months roll by you will accumilate a hell of a lot of links and start ranking really well.

Article marketing again cant be rushed. You need to make sure all your articles are 100% original and not copied because Google will not like duplicate text (so dont do it). Then you ned to distribute them to websites suchas Ezine articles, Go Articles, Hub Page - these are all great places to put them.

I often worry when I read things like learn seo quick and gets fast backlinks because those are tickets to getting nowehere on Google. So take your time, read good articles and digest the info and avoid any 'ideas' you have of getting lots of links fast - because they dont work and if they do they wont for very long.

yeah forum posting is very fast. Expecially if you just open up a bunch of forum posts using the tabs in your browser. then, all you have to do is simply start commenting away and you're off.

The best answer would be whatever you enjoy doing most to be honest with you. Its a preferance. If artical marketing are your thing then I encourage you to do so, same to blogs, forums, social networking or maybe even buying certain trust worthy packages that enable you to get a set amount of backlinks you can implement yourself. I, myself personally use Squidoo.com for backlinking. Check it out its free, it lets you build lenses or blogs if you will, and submit an RSS Feed. Quality backlinks are links that are made to your blog or website from other sites on the Internet. Backlink quality also depends on the source sites popularity and traffic. Increase the popularity and traffic equals more quality backlink.

Comment on relevant blog from different platforms and with both high and low PR. Usually immediately indexed and with quality. Dont go for low quality links;profile links etc, hard to index and very low count.

From what I have noticed, forum posts (signature) is fastest backlink, but any active site/blog that gets load of traffic will give you fast backlink.

Also you can try to submit your site to site directories.

Actually, you can google "dofollow site directories" and find many directories.Some directories take time to enlist you, others will make it faster if you provide reciprocal link.

The same is with dofollow blog posts, only to get links, you will have to read the blog and contribute to discussion, not to be marked as spammer.

As for social bookmarking sites, I agree that they greatly help for indexing your site content, but recently Google discarded all of them as source of backlinks. Still they help a lot for indexing.

Article submission is also working, but recently many article directories started to insist that you submit only 100% original article, so for each link you will have to produce one new article, so I'm not sure if it's really fast.

Link exchange still works, especially 3-way and 4-way (you link back not on the site that linked at you but to another site of the same owner. 4-way is when you link back from other site, not the one that received the link, to another site of the person that linked to you).

I tend to agree with above posts. Take your time, do it the right way first. I've had great luck submitting in forums, answer type sites, and article directories. Set a goal of a certain number per day/week and over time you will have nice organic (honest) traffic with no frowns from Google.

Submitting articles what is the view submit only to 1 example ezine or submit to say 5 or 6 , the advantage to latter approach in my view is that your backlinks will be coming from different IP's . In summary if you have 6 unique articles would it be best to submit all to ezine or submit to 6 different article web sites , same question would apply to press releases

The best may not be the fastest, as the search engines tend to reward the most work with higher search rankings, so often blog commenting may be the fastest but things like article submission, and press releases tend to be rewarded the most
