I've just started using linkwheels on some of my sites.

Currently I am seeing some increase in traffic from the sites but I think the long term benefits will really provide for some good value.

Essentially, linkwheels are properties which try to establish trust and authority by linking to other properties. All these properties then link to other sites and most of them link to your main site.

This helps to pass on the 'link juice' in an effective manner.

I do not rate link wheels what so ever, and a lot of web 2.0 sites are no-follow these days. I believe the time is better spent on other forums of link building.
