For SEO purposes it doesn't matter.

I, personally, wouldn't spend $30 on a .co domain because I'm cheap. I'd go with the .info every time unless a very nice keyword.com was available. Not for SEO purposes, mind you, but simply for brandability and/or resell.

Matt Carter (SEO Guru) has recently came out with a new study he did on .info domains and their SEO benefits.

He came to the conclusion that .info is very good for SEO. Maybe not as good as .com or .net but a close third according to his study.

    I'd go for it

Domain extensions do not have a huge impact on SEO ranking. But if you're optimizing in a country level scale, you might opt for a .us, .uk or whatever extension assigned for your country.

I rarely see a .co that is ranking. IMO I'd take a .info over a .co

.co is not better than .info but .info is definitely not as good as .com, .net or .org I'd say to go with an offshoot of a .com rather than the exact match .info or .co

you can use .info but the value of .info is less when you want to flip it, so it is better to use .com, .org, .net. Although .info have no serious defect for SEO purpose in the long term, it may may not rank as fast as .com, .org, .net in short term.

.co is not worth it, it is expensive while have no any advantage in SEO, you better buy a .com than .co.

If you are only targret certain country, then domain for local such as .co.uk will be suitable for you.
