Infolinks, My Results

Just completed a full week with info links on a couple of my sites and from my point of few what a load of rubbish.

Net Impressions - 1206
Clicks - 47
CTR - 3.89%
Total - $1.35

I have run this along side adsense and i'm sure i've missed a few adsense clicks because this is installed which would end up being more than a weeks earnings from infolinks.. Are they hogging all the money or are they really that cheap to advertise with?

Also is there any affect to my site having outbound links?

Around 3 cents per click is not too bad but if you look at it as $1.35/CPM then its pretty dam good lol

Infolinks pays 1-2cents on my site too, nothing near Adsense which sometimes pay more than 50 cents per click

I had incredibly high $0.05 per click during one week (where AdSense brought ~.30 per click). So I get rid of this waste of space and thinking of InfoLinks as of good place to advertise on.

Well I took it off today.

I can see it getting good results on high volume forums but when my visitors are looking for a product id rather they click on one of my other adverts.

Yeah, I've had it running on a site for less than a month and have made $1.83. On this same site a couple of days ago, I had 1 Adsense click that paid $5. I'm taking it off. Not worth it, especially if it lures someone away from clicking on my other ads or Adsense.

Just curious.. why did you guys begin using Infolinks in the first place? What made you stray from Adsense? Were you just experimenting to see if the returns were any better?

**(I don't know much about Infolinks or how its different from Adsense)

I tried InfoLinks about 3 months ago. Same result.. I realized it might keep someone from clicking AdSense as most people will not click twice on the same page so it was quickly removed.

I was using both and thought the inline advertising might generate more revenue. I just didnt expect the price per click to be so little. I was hoping in might work out better but getting more clicks and compensating for the missed adsense clicks.
