Linklicious.Me - Free service to RSS and drip feed your links

When you build a lot of links there is always the challenge of getting Google to find them so you get credit. Like most of you, when building links I'd do the usual links2rss/icerocket/pingler/etc setup to get my links indexed. While great, this is a manual process that took a lot of time. So I decided to automate it...

I built a tool to generate my own RSS files from my links, post them and ping them. There is a free version for pinging the RSS feeds and we'll have a premium version coming shortly for pinging down to the link level. If you are sick of manually doing this stuff, hop on over.

In short...
- Cut paste in your links
- Auto-shorten and anonymize links (301s)
- Spin the RSS feed info and RSS link info
- Automatically chunk the links into small RSS files
- The site auto-hosts the files
- Automatically ping the RSS files
- SCHEDULE YOUR RSS FILES FOR PINGING EVERY X HOURS
^^^ In other words, drip your links over how ever many hours you want!
- LEARN WHEN YOUR RSS FILE HAS BEEN CRAWLED BY GOOGLE

Let me know what you guys think!

Just wanted to add that in the past month we've launched integration with DripFeedBlasts, MyLinkClub, and Backlinks Genie, and are on tap for two more.

The goal of the service is to automate the boring and tedious stuff and get the low value links counted and integrating with these link builders helps!

Thanks! Just remember Linklicious helps with the volume game. If you are only loading in a few links at a time you won't see much improvement. If you are doing comment/profile blasts it'll help quite a bit with your SERP results.

I've been using linklicious since xmas and I've noticed a marked increase in SERPs. Which is why I signed up for the paid plan as soon as the beta ended.

However, for the past 3 days, I haven't been able to add a single link to linklicious. There's a msg on the homepage that says "things are slow and we're working on it" but this has nothing to do with speed. When I add my links, they don't even show up in the 'total feeds' tab. This is the 4th day now.

Any ETA on when I can resume adding my links? I love using linklicious and would like to get back to it

Definitely interested in trying this out!

Having a look right now.. I have a question.

With the paid membership you can integrate with dripfeedblasts.. Does this work if you are dripfeedblasting hub pages, web 2.0, and authority article sites like ezinearticles articles?

I am considering giving dripfeedblasts a try, but was not planning on blasting my own sites, but blasting sites that link to my sites. Would linklicious still get those dripfeedblasts indexed?

Yes, that's the entire point of the service.

Cheap links don't get found well by Google so it's essentially wasted money. We drip feed ping the links until they get crawled by Google. So if you have your feeder/2.0/hub sites that have your links, you use Linklicious to help them get found.

Think of this as an easy to use link maximizing tool.

Do you submit them to RSS directories as well?
How do you understand when a page is crawled?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[3203717].message }}

    Sorry for missing the bump...

@Exploring - This gets links crawled and helps with indexing, but indexing isn't a primary goal. The issue with weak links is they are rarely found because they are buried deep. Unfound links are wasted money and we prevent that by pinging until the links are found and crawled.

@ee - Thanks! We try and squash issues as soon as they pop up. I've got the programmers locked to my desk and bring them pizza and red bull regularly. Hopefully only another week or two and they'll be able to leave the office!

@Fking - We don't submit to directories as that doesn't help with crawling. We know the page is crawled because we rewrite the URLs and track "clicks" to the link.

I joined would be nice if there was literature on exactly what is happening and how to use this service to its best.
    I joined for $56 as I can add 50 000 links a day
    I have several million
I cannot set how fast I can get links pinged I unclick a box that says 1hr 2hrs etc
It says ping is set at 40 a day this would take 100 000 years
    All I want is instructions
I keep checking and nothing is spidered.
I try and add a domain I assume that means my rrsfeed would belong to me and on my domain but I keep getting
Domain must point to the IP 173.193.242.251
This is set in my hostgator unless the redirect takes a long time
    I sent 2 emails
    FRUSTRATING
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[3263953].message }}
  • Profile picture of the author HKSEO Extropy
@User - lol. Two emails, a PM and a post. I'd say you are frustrated! You didn't point the A record to the IP which is why your domain isn't working. If you upload 5,000 links at 100/day, it'll drip feed out for 50 days. That's what most people do. If you are uploading 50,000 links you'll want to do it in smaller batches if you want the feeds to complete sooner. If you upload all at once we assume you want those all drip fed together.

if you continously ping the links until they are indexed can you risk being penalized?Iv heard you cant but Id aprpeciate your view on this, also what linklicious does can you do this manually but it takes more time?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[3336158].message }}
  • Profile picture of the author HKSEO Extropy
I've not seen any benefit or detriment to multiple pings. We just ping until the links get crawled and stop after that.

You can do some of what Linklicious does manually. The service builds RSS feeds, spins the titles/descriptions, drip feeds the RSS feeds out, and pings each link until a crawl comes. The goal is to automate this time consuming task and add some value along the way.

    Actually that's not right.

Bots will almost never crawl into the feed period. You can make the feed and Google hits the page, but it'll crawl maybe one or two links after a day or three. Google just won't crawl into the feeds unless you build a massive amount of links to the feed itself.

We found it was much easier to ping the links inside the feed as that'll get it crawled much faster.

This all is very easy to test, but nobody took the time to look at it.

Nope. For SEO purposes, RSS feeds are only relevant if you are building a ton of backlinks to them to power up the links inside. Otherwise they are a needless layer that doesn't help. If you are using Linklicious then feed size is totally irrelevant.

    Hi Extropy

I have been using your service for past few days. I can see that the links are getting indexed easily in few days. Is that pinging brings in this fast indexing. I have tried other venues to index those links, but using your services i am getting quite good positive results.

I have submitted another set of urls yesterday night with some links i was trying to get indexed for past few weeks with other methods. Let me update here once they have got indexed.

Thank you for the great free tool

I'm glad you're getting good use out of the service. We've been getting several great stories a week and it's cool to be a part of it!

Keep in mind we focus on crawls and not indexing - but it's great to see your results. In our initial tests we saw 60-80% increase in indexing, but indexing ultimately depends on the page quality and the crawl rate over the links. We'll get you at 100%...

Any links will work just fine. If you want Google to be aware of them, then dump them in. The limits are really high so it doesn't really matter if they are good/bad. You'll see the most SERP benefit from putting in the low value/poorly crawled links like profiles and comments.

I noticed that a guy got his site to first page of google using profile links and linklicious in 5 days! Even as of today his site has very few indexed backlinks (14) according to YSE (Yahoo Site Explorer).

But he used linklicious to get all of his backlinks crawled, he says thats all he did.

Hey... heard about this through the Bring the Fresh forum. I probably would have already bought it, but you don't take paypal... but might get someone else to get it for me.

    Anyway... couple questions.

    1) If I've already pinged and done RSS feeds via html2rss.com and feedburner, is it safe to resubmit my links to linklicious, or would that be a bad idea.

    2) It seems that this is mostly for profile links? What if I had a bunch of article backlinks... would it be good for that?

    3) Would there be any use in using this for a few high PR links... from what I read it seems there's no point in doing an RSS feed for just a few links. Can I submit them to linklicious just to ensure they get crawled?

Thanks for any info... and seems like a great product for a very good price.

      1. Google doesn't particularly like crawling links inside RSS feeds. So you can consider those uncrawled and good to submit.
      2. It works best with low value links like profiles and poor quality blogs. However you can still see some benefit with higher quality links like articles.
      3. Generally speaking if your link has PR it is already indexed. You'd see very little benefit from submitting those. However, you it can't hurt anything.

      THanks for the questions!

I am not a fan of "pinging" backlinks, in fact i like the knowledge that backlinks are not discovered right away.

IMHO, it's better to backlink backlinks and simply increase the chances that links get naturally discovered. In addition, this also adds more juice to the links.

There are very simple strategies for this and i have seen reports by people ranking ALL THE WAY to #1 for medium difficulty keywords.

For example, Article Submission (with links to money site)...and then backlinking the article URLs through lots of blog comments/profiles etc.

In other words, drip your links over how ever many hours you want!
You don't need to "drip" and "schedule" if you disperse your links and links to links quite naturally. Google does the rest.

The main goal is to get crawls of your backlinks so none of your link building efforts are wasted. Most of the links we get are poorly linked so Google doesn't find them. We do not build more backlinks to your site(s). Indexing isn't a goal of the service but you will see improvements. Index rate will increase based upon the overall quality of the backlinks.

I put some links in using the free service. Endedup with 4 feeds. It says all the feeds were spidered. However, when I look at the details, none of the actual URLs in the feed were spidered. That certainly supports your statement Google doesn't crawl into the feed, considering it's been two months.

However, that being the case, how does the free version help if none of the URLs in the feed are pinged? I'm a little dense sometimes, so I'm probably missing something everyone else can see....

Well, the free version does what most people used to do - create rss feeds with their links and submit the feeds. The original goal of Linklicious was to automate that time consuming task. What we found after we built the first version was that google could care less about your links inside the rss feeds - and that the conventional wisdom that some people still spout about RSS feeds is just flat wrong.

So in short, rss feeds like most people use them are useless. The only way they'll be useful is if you build backlinks to the feeds to encourage google to crawl the interior links.

Now with the free version, I am adding links from various sites I have... then I see this advanced options section, Do I have to fill that out?? If so, would I have to do that for each site that I have for its own set of backlinks?

It wont let me leave it blank.

    Thanks.

No, the advanced option is for customizing the RSS feeds that are created. I never touch those but we have them for those folks that want to tweak everything.

We've not seen any correlation between RSS feed text and crawl depth/speed so I feel safe in running with the default settings.

Great question... Since you are (hopefully) building a lot of links to your site, you want Google to know about those links. If Google doesn't know about them, you don't get credit and your rank doesn't improve.

So add ALL of the links you build into the system!

I got millions of backlinks. Actually my site rank 1 for millions of backlinks.

I know you have 50k links per day. Can I put 200k at once and not putting the rest for 4 days and stuff?

Or do I have to put 50k once, and then wait 24 hours, and then put 50k the next day.

If you accept only 50k per day it's fine, but I like to put 1 million at once and then I don't know. Sign up for a second account so you got $100 per month instead from me. Is that possible?

So this get my backlinks crawled. That's it. You said something about I need to drive links into the feed. So will this get my backlinks indexed or not?

Or do I have to put 50k once, and then wait 24 hours, and then put 50k the next day.

If you accept only 50k per day it's fine, but I like to put 1 million at once and then I don't know. Sign up for a second account so you got $100 per month instead from me. Is that possible?

So this get my backlinks crawled. That's it. You said something about I need to drive links into the feed. So will this get my backlinks indexed or not?

The way things are set up is you get a daily limit. There is no functionality that allows you to use up multiple days of quota at once.

And Linklicious will help with getting links indexed but it's not the primary goal of the service. Indexing isn't needed to rank so we don't focus on that.

You stated that "Index rate will increase based upon the overall quality of the backlinks" Ok what can I do to make lets say bookmark links, or forum profile links high quality?

For example should I buy a cheap 10k blog comment push and have those links point to my 300 (bookmark/forum) links which then point to my money site?

And then will using Linklicious on my 300 links show google that these 300 are of quality and index them? Thanks.

            You answered your question yourself
Yes, that is the way of doing it, you can still do more with it though, get diverse links, from web 2.0 sites, article sites etc and get them to be indexed through this methods, by far linklicious is the best indexing mechanism that i find and i recommend it to all my customers.

Yes, backlinks is one of the two major ways to increase indexing. The second way is to increase the overall page content quality. I'd offer that instead of buying 10K links for the purpose of indexing, buy it for the purpose of ranking!

You should use Linklicious on ALL of your links so they get counted.

Hi I just subscribed and I do have a question, please if you can answer

    Feed title, Description

    Link Title, Link Description

They are in the advanced setting where I put my API key from thirdparty. Can I leave them as they are(prefilled with some names, and verbs and subjects), do they really matter? If I was to update them, what do you suggest I put there?

If you could explain those so I understand how to use them. How important is it to set correct feed catagory? Should I update these for each new "project/website" I use and different keywords, etc. Need more info for this so I know how to use this. Or perhaps it does not matter so much so I can leave default values?

The service works better the more links you build. I honestly wouldn't worry about it at your volume. And I'm surprised if you can rank sites at that low volume!
