That's GREAT news. Congratulations. I am a big adsense fan too. I read about folks who make $6K per month with adsense and I am trying to work hard to get to that level. Its all about building "the empire"....one block at a time.

Hey congrats to your achievement!

I tried applying for an adsense account before setting up my blog proper and you guessed it, my account application was rejected and my gmail was banned from applying for adsense again!

I wonder how I can tackle adsense again.

Definitely get those sites up and looking like they should before you apply. Just this last Saturday, I sat in my kitchen with 2 others and we completed their sites, had everything looking just as it should and both applied to AdSense. Both had their applications approved the next day.

I do find it strange they banned your gmail account from applying again!

Hey Amy thanks for your tip.

Yup I am wondering as well. Right after they banned my account from apply, I sent an appeal and they came back within a week (via email) to inform me they rejected my account because I violated their policy.

The appeal, though I though was detailed enough to explain I'm a newbie and unaware of the rules, was never considered.

Just my luck!

Anyway spotlight should be on you! Good luck on your $4000 adsense pay days!

I'm on my way as well. I just got my first $115 check last week which took me months. Then this month I made near $50 alone - so it's looking good so far.

I'll just keep expanding unique content as well as post articles on revenue sharing sites like Hubpages & Infobarrel (which I put six articles up last night and almost all of them got on the first page (traffic increased as well (had to do a lot of KW analysis though))).

Thanks all! Much appreciated. @BigCat.. I kind of had that same experience. My earnings jumped over 300% after making the first hundred.. which took some time! Sounds like you're on the same path. Good place to be so best of luck to you too!

@InitialEffort.. agreed! My husband put the first check in our "mail we'll eventually get to" stack and it sat there 2 days before I got to it and realized what it was!

If you understand numbers, you shall realize that in IM business traffic grows exponentially during your website's growth phase if you don't do something too wrong. Then it would stabilize. So as your traffic grows, your Adsense income would also grow exponentially and would stabilize.

Good job on your $500 month. Time to rinse, repeat and add another 0 at the end to make it $5,000.

Here's a fellow warrior (Steve Crooks) that eats, sleeps, and drinks all things adsense. (adsense bootcamp) I'd join this program myself if I wasn't already making good money with adsense.

BTW Amy, congrats on 500.00! Work on adding a 0 to that figure now, it's not rocket science at this point.

With all the success stories I've been reading with Adsense lately, I've decided to have a stab at it.

In the last few months I've been able to get my Adsense income to $200 per month.

However I would never make it as my main source of income due to Google Banning people all the time.

I've been banned from Adwords then 6 months later, Youtube!

In a way, I feel like I'm just waiting to get banned from Adsense lol

Anyway well done with your Adsense income... Keep it up!
