I thought I would share this awesome technique because this forum has given me so much!

Link pushing is a method in which web2 properties link to your site and then all the backlinks you want to build build off of the web 2 properties. With this technique, you website is shielded and will help keep you site out of Google's sandbox TREMENDOUSLY.

What you need to do is create 6 web 2 properties. (Web2 properties are things like free wordpress and blogger blogs. To get a web 2 list go here

Link 2 of your web 2 properties to your site, and then link the last 4 web 2 properties to the initial 2 so now they are "interlinked."

What you want all your backlinks linking to from now on will be the web 2 properties that you just interlinked.

Now your site will be shielded and you can start blasting links and booting ranks!

  • That is an interesting list of web 2 properties, but how many of the Page Ranks actual count in back-linking?

    • It is best to have the higher ranking ones. The point is to push "linkjuice to your site by feeding it through other sites so your site stays protected. So to answer your question though, I would say all of them count.

  • That's interesting, it's basically a link wheel.

But in order for it to be more effective, you would need to repeat the process many times over. The above process will only give your site 2 backlinks... Although good backlinks, you will need more for more competitive niches.

    Good tips though

    • It might only give you two backlinks, but the link juice and velocity is reciprocal, and it will give you more link juice this way than using six random blog backlinks.

It's not about numbers, it's about link velocity and effectiveness of the linking
  • Very interesting indeed, but have you tested how powerful this will be?
I think this is about boosting inbound links. That is effective.
It would be nice to hear views from those who have already tried this method.
  • I agree that this is just another variation of a link wheel, except to make it truly effective you are going to have to set up many, many combinations since only 2 of the sites are actually linking to your money site.

    • Have link wheels ever been shown to be effective for competitive keywords? I mean the elite keywords that everyone is fighting for. I know they've worked for medium competition keywords, if done right.
