I am considering offering back links in the warriors for hire forum but have no ideal what I could charge and if folks would be interested.. What would be a competitive price for 8 or 10k back links and are there many people interested in this service?

  • There will always be people interested in a backlinking service. There are quite a few backlinking offers already in the classifieds section already including my own, so you will have to have good service and a competitive price to get some buyers. I recommend browsing that section and check all the backlinking offers and see what they offer and their prices. Set your price lower than someone who has a related offer and make sure you have a convincing sales copy.

  • OK... Now I haven't decided that I am going to offer back links yet but If i did what wouls be a good asking price for say 5k high pr back links? would 25 bucks be to high?

In my opinion, it's certainly not too high if the words "high page-rank backlinks" refer to backlinks on pages which have high page-rank.

If, on the other hand, they turn out to mean only "backlinks on PR-0 pages in sites whose home page happens to have high PR", that's widely perceived as a whole different lower-value ball-game, isn't it? In that case, in addition to actually selling them, you have to convince people first that they have value, too.
    • Take a look at what people are offering currently for similar work. Once you do that, you'll be able to set a solid price point. If you can, consider pricing your offer a bit lower to attract new customers.
    • How can you offer 5000 backlinks that will work? I can guarantee, only a small proportion of those work, dont just buy a list off fiverr and sell it. You need to provide quality, not quantity.

I assure you there would be quality there, with pr ranging from 6 to 9 and edu and .gov links as well... but im not here to sell any one on it yet, just wondering if i could make enough money to make it worth my time.

Thomas, are those the PR's of the actual pages on which the links will be?

That's what the viability of the whole thing depends on, you know?

I'm not asking to try to be "difficult", by the way: if you're thinking of doing this as a WSO or in Warriors For Hire, that will surely be the first question asked in your thread?
    • I still do not understand how you can monitor 5000 links? Are they all dofollow?
