"Hidden" Code On A Page

I have a well established camp site (PR 4) that I want to optimize for some new terms in the search engines.

I'm going to build links for these terms and point them to the index (home) page, even though the home page has nothing to do with these terms specifically, just the site does in general.

Besides adding these terms to the meta name Keywords, what else can I do to help myself out?

Is there any other "hidden" code that would be safe to add that only the search engine robots see?

      Hi Dan,

If you work really hard for a long time you may get your page to rank for irelevant keywords, but you have an uphill battle. What you should be doing instead is deep linking.

Anchor text should point back to a page that have relevancy to the anchor text used in the link.

Keep in mind that Google's uses LSI (latent symantic indexing) also so if the links pointing back to your page has any relationship to the content of that page you should be getting some credit for the link.

That said, as the other person stated, you could rank over time for those links but it would be long process.

        Good Luck!

DOnt put any of the hidden code on any of your webapge. Also dont try to make your home page optimized for what it do not contains. If you know that keywords should be used in for other pages then try to optimize those pages keeping meta keywords in those pages. ....
