Hi,
i have been using google adwords for a long time. but the cost is almost equal to revenues from it. So is it worth continuing the adwords or should I stop it as it is not giving me much profits. I mean does adwords have any SEO value so that I do not stop it if it has.

    I have never seen any evidence that adwords helps SEO.

    I'm assuming you have done some testing on your site to try and improve conversions? When I was spending money on adwords my adwords clickthrough was decent but my site was not set up very well to convert visitors.

    I have just concluded my own test of Adwords and based on the evidence of my own experience it had no impact on the number of new registrations or sales. It had no impact on my site at all other than to increase the Adsense revenues on that particular site (but not enough to cover the cost of the Adwords campaign!).

    In answer to your query about Adwords & SEO - Adwords has no use as an SEO tool at all.

    Are you sure that you wouldn't be earning revenues without Adwords? Any paid advertising should generate at least 3 times its cost to make it financially worthwhile.

    I also don't like Adwords. I set up budget $5/day with bid $0.7/click but don't see any improvement of traffic.

    That's because Adwords indeed does not help SEO in any way.

    My suggestion is to have a professional review your campaign. You may not be using proper keywords, maybe your ads could be improved that can increase the click rate as well as the conversion rate. You may be doing everything right but the costs too high to make a profit. It may simply be a matter of reducing bids.

    PPC = More Traffic

    More Traffic = More Exposure

    More Exposure = More Hype

    More Hype Creates Backlinks

    Backlinks Creates SEO rankings

    If your providing unique and quality content from your PPC ads, people will start talking in Forums, Social Networks etc, thus creating backlinks! So in a way, your PPC campaigns can have an impact on your SEO, but not directly!

    Yes, that has to be qualified: PPC does not help SEO directly.
