Change Title To Target Different Keyword?

Once a page has been indexed and ranked, can a person change the title, and keywords in the text so that different keywords are targeted?

  • You can, but you run the risk of losing some rankings for the original keyword you were targeting. Rather than replacing the existing title with something completely different, ou could modify it and work in your new keywords. And I'd only recommend that for very closely related keywords, in which case you probably wouldn't need to change the title anyway
