Permalink Problem, ( I think ? )

hello, i cant seem to get rid of these strange numbers and letters on my address bar when clicking on any of my blogs pages? here is an example of what i mean:
http://containerhouse.info/container...#axzz17r541Job

i have no idea how to get rid of the
#search engine optimization #permalink #problem
  • When you go into Wordpress look on the left under Settings and you will see Permalinks. WP puts your permalinks as

    Default http:// yoursite.com /?p=123

    which is why you get the numbers.

    You can change it to the other examples or use a Custom Structure.

    I use either
    /%category%/%postname%/
    or
    /%year%/%postname%/

    Check out Using Permalinks « WordPress Codex for more help. To change posts already published you can try a plugin to redirect your published pages like this one Permalinks Migration Plugin for wordpress : DEAN LEE:/DEV/BLOG

    Back up your site to make sure all goes well when you try to change them.

    • do you think it is a plugin doing this? i will try that.

      and i am using custom structure (( /%postname%/ ))

    • in a matter of fact, the strange numbers and letters change every once in a while when i re-load my page? I am really confused on why this is happening.
  • i have deactivated each plugin one by one and then reactivated them. still no change. i am really confused here?
