SEO results of profile marketing

Hi,

I am going to start profile marketing soon. Please tell me if it is useful. I am using sick submitter. I know that profiles have no PR but still I want to know if anyone thinks the backlinks have any SEO worth or have permanent SEO value? Anyone got good results from it?

    I doubt you'll be able to see amazing results over night to be honest, depends how "far" you go with it, if you start building networks of profile links, which inter-link with each other, kind of like a huge linkwheel with 1000's of different spokes, then yeah you might be able to have some good results with it. The main reason people seem to get terrible results with profile links, it's because they don't get their links indexed, a un-indexed link is a worthless one.

      i think it is better to stick with articles, pr, forums, blog posts, comments etc. as these are permanent and are giving excellent results.

      just wanted to diversify my SEO efforts to exploit all backlink strategies. however, after reading poor reviews about profile marketing on internet I have already given up.
