Maybe some of you know about this email marketing service from simplycast.com. From the website it looks like they haven't left out anything. I was wondering if anyone with experience with them could compare them to aweber?

Thanks,
Steve

    Hi Steve,

I'd never heard of Simplycast before so I was quite curious and checked it out (I use Aweber).

Looks quite professional, especially with endorsements from big name companies like FedEx, Cisco and Walmart. What surprised me was the pricing plans, very cheap but then there's a huge jump from $7/month to $510 per month which doesn't make much sense.

They don't clearly state how many subscribers you can have with each plan. I suspect that as you have more subscribers, you will pay more per month. The lack of clarity is always a sign that you need to be careful.

Simplycast also limits how many emails you can send out according to a "points" system. What they don't make obvious is how many "points" it will cost you to send an email out. Again, something to be weary of.

I agree... seems good at first glance, but when you look deeper too many limites and too big of a payment jump

      I use Aweber.

I thought their wording was a little vague too. Thought they have a tempting offer here on this page:
Email Marketing Prices - Best Price Promise! | SimplyCast.com

    It says:
At SimplyCast, we strive to provide our customers with the highest quality service at the best price.

In order to continue to help you grow your business and stay on budget, our promise to you is to provide the best price possible.

If you find a similar service advertised or quoted by another company that is similar to a service offered by SimplyCast, contact us by email or phone with either the website link or quote.
Sounds like a commercial for Zellers: the lowest price is the law. Wonder what would happen if you asked them to match aweber's price....

I guess they stick around long enough, we'll hear something about them...

    Regards,
