Your thoughts on domain names?

Hey was sitting here thinking about buying mainstream domain names, what do you think is the best way to go by doing this?
domain.com domain-com something.domain.com

I have several 4 letter domain names like n2ft.com va2k.com etc. but was thinking about mainstream.. Is this like adult you try to find the right domain name for the niche your promoting?

Give me your thoughts! Thanks

I know this is newb 101 but I want to do this the right way and doing a ton of research like I did in 2000 when I started adult! Thank you all.

  • If you are building based on SEO then you should try to include relevant keywords in the domain.

    But if you are building a brand and want that brand to be remembered, then short and sweet will be the preffered route with memorable name.
