Article Marketing & Link Backs To My Site

Hi

I launched my first site about 3 weeks ago in a niche that I know well.

At this point the site is a splash screen to grab names and emails and I am offering a 150 page manual and 6 free videos for free.

I have been using article marketing to promote the site (ezine articles) and link exchange sites.

Traffic is starting to increase and I am currently grabbing 1-2 emails a day.

Now I know it will take consitent action every day to build up this list and I hope one day its 100,000 + and growing. I am using auto responders to keep in contact and I am broadcasting information and advice.

At this moment I have not send any offers which will generate an income. I was planning to wait until I had 500+ on the list.

So my main focus is attracting traffic at this time but perhaps starting to earn an income as well.

Currently I have a youtube channel page, facebook fan page and a twitter feed as well which all get updated every 2-3 days.

So here is my idea, and I wanted some feedback

1) I will go to click bank and check on affiliate products in my nice.

2) I will chose ones I like and then write a review of them in a new section on my site called Product Reviews. Each review will have a hop link to the product.

3) I will also start writing (every other article) a review of the product with a link back to my main review page on my site which will have more information and the hop link.

I am hoping that this will

a) start earning some income
b) help to increase my google ranking with more articles with links back to my domain/site
c) start to increase content on my site (at the moment it is just the static web page) by adding review articles with the hop links.

So I am asking if this is a good strategy or can you suggest something else?

Thanks in advance

Sounds right on. I submit some articles to Ezine Articles, but I find that Submit Your Article has really worked for me this year. I usually wouldn't recommend article spinners, but theirs is awesome and they trickle the articles out to hundreds of article submission sites over time of your choice. They also provide tons of content for your site. Very pleased with the results I get from them. It's been great for traffic and visibility.

Really only ezine, buzzle, go and articlebase will get your traffic, but submitting to other directories will help get you backlinks which will increase your organic ranking in Google, which is another nice way to get traffic.

If you have choosen your email list as the primary sales method for the site, consider oing light on the advertising there and focus on developing a good rep. with the search engines, until you climb out of onscutity and have signigic traffic.
There a have to be a ton of short sighted types with product review articles first linking to the sales page, sales list based marketing calls for relationship building and slow warming sales. Consider sticking with the public service articles. they are more easily approved.

You've got a decent module. There isn't anything inherently wrong with it. Just put it to work and then try out more and more different methods until you become more and more efficient.
