Hi! I used to do SEO for various sites hosted on a Wordpress platform. Everything went perfectly and all those sites skyrocketed to rank number 1 in their respective keywords.

Now, I'm doing SEO for a site hosted on Joomla. I've been doing backlinks for 2 weeks already and it seems not even a single backling was indexed. Why is this so?

Do CMS play a vital role in terms of SEO? How can I build backlinks in a Joomla site?

Need your feedbacks, Warriors. Thanks.

I think search engines are wiser now and it wouldn't matter that much if its word press or joomla. it would all boil down if you have a good onpage and offpage SEO.

The difference, seo-wise, between joomla and wordpress is minor.
