Do affiliates linking to your site increase your PR?

Just wondering - if I put a product on Clickbank and affiliates began promoting it (through article marketing, web 2.0, etc...) does Google count those links as backlinks and will they index them and increase your PR to your site?

Or does Google look at affiliate links pointing to your site differently?

google knows about affiliate links so they are discounted, but I'm not 100% sure but I heard this was a change google did a while ago.

Those link go to clickbank not to your site. Affiliates use a link like "affname.vendorname.hop.clickbank.net" (I am not sure but it is similar to this )

Your site name is NOT in that link so no link juice is passed

There are scripts that can help with that
