A lot of people ask for help with adwords. Nothing beats a case study and
tips from someone who has mastered it. I found these gems the other day
from the New York Times:
Has This Business Mastered Google AdWords? - NYTimes.com

Seven Pay-Per-Click Mistakes to Avoid - NYTimes.com

The first is more of an intro to the woman who did it with her business. The second
is her tips. Pretty good reading. The points are very insightful and worth a read.

Yeah, I started my AdWords campaign with just $75. Too bad I didn't know about their coupons back then.

Definitely has some nuggets of solid information. Pretty interesting that she got the white house on board. That's one thing I still can't say I've done

I believe Adwords work a lot better for a local service than a site trying to sell products.

    Great articles.
I guess one of the main things that google has always tried to emphasise that few people take notice of is to create landing pages that are specific to the keywords you are targeting. This not only improves your quality score but gives searches a much better experience which in the end is what google is trying to do isn't it.
