Market Samurai Questions

I have just downloaded the Market Samurai for trail and encountered the follow question.

In my version of the keyword research, I can check the google keyword tool, but there is no option to select the Google Search Keyword.

Also in the SEO competition, my website DA is -, not sure what does it mean?

Can someone please help me out, thanks.

    I also downloaded Market Samurai today in a trial version. I noticed they have several great tutorial videos online. So far, I've only watched the two first about how to use the program.

    You add the keywords, when you create the project.

    If your website is - in DA, it means your website is very young. If you mouse over the text "DA", you can see what it means.

      You can always "Add Keywords" in keyword research prior to analyzing the keywords. You can also click on the left-hand navigation "NEW KEYWORD" if you want additional keywords for your project.

      When you create a project, you are creating your base keyword usually based on what you name the project.

    I have had my website for over 5 years: www ijdmtoy dot com.

    But I am using a subdomain store.ijdmtoy.com for my web store, were that be the reason to make my website too young?

    Also for the keyword research questions, I have included a picture, please check, thanks again.

      Thanks for the photo, now I know what you're talking about. That part of the interface was overhauled in recent versions of Market Samurai. The learning videos in the dojo have not been updated using the most recent version.

      Also, it's definitely worth creating an ad words account and clicking on the link titled "Generate up to 800 keywords" to link Market Samurai with your ad words account.

        I am testing it, but I am not sure whether it is for my niche, that if I set the SEOT to 30000, I will end up with no result at all. For my case, I need at least 150000 to pull out any results.

        * my niche is car LED lights, so I use car LED, or auto LED as keyword in the very first search.

        I am still think about whether this tool is good for me or not.
