PLEASE HELP MEEEE!!!

Hello,
I just wanted to talk to you about my site. I've done article submissions, directory submissions, press releases, ezine articles links, linkwheels, bookmarking etc... a number of pages on my site rank on page 2 at the top, and one of my pages is #5 on the first page.

My website is www.thedoggroomingguide.com

my keywords i want to rank for are:
dog grooming at home
dog grooming tips
do it yourself dog grooming
DIY dog grooming
online dog grooming courses
bathing puppies
dog nail grooming
dog grooming training


as you can see, some of these keywords have my pages ranking very well.

I need some help to figure out how to boost it to the top? any advice or anything you can do to help me? any strategies or link building methods im forgetting that can help boost me to the top?

  • Keep getting quality backlinks maybe some .edu or .org backlinks and just keep at it. And keep optimizing your content for the keywords you are going after as it seems you are doing already.

    No magic pill just good old fashioned elbow grease. Have you tried Fiverr? You can outsource some of your linkbuilding through there.

  • Necessities:
    - Add another keyword to your title,
    - 301 redirect your www or non-www,
    - Neither your blog articles nor your external articles are doing awfully much, they have no backlinks pointing to them. How do you expect them to transfer PR if you don't have links built to them?

    Suggestions:
    - Go on yahoo answers and answer a few questions that pertain to dog grooming, citing your articles as sources.
    - If this were my project, depending on how much investment I had in it, I'd consider linkbaiting with something visual. Like an infographic explaining the most common ailments a dog could have and some basic tips on keeping your dog clean.
  • Suggest you get serious about adding some backlinks. I counted 66 altogether, unless I'm missing something. Either you search for more info in this forum and get a copy of Scrapebox or I suggest you hire someone to do this for you.
  • no I have about 6,000 results when i quote my website in google. much more backlinks than 66 I can promise you that

  • I'll never use that online tool again for backlink calculations. Only off by a factor of a 100!
  • Have you made Hub Pages and Squidoo Lenses? How about uploading some video to Tubemogul?
  • Ill get some .edu and .gov links if possible. Also, I have not uploaded any videos. any ideas for making a video?

    • steal some off youtube, easiest way to get great quality videos and just add your watermark to them.

  • Add content with your targeted keywords in your content. and build quality links that are related to your site.
  • You site does need more content on the home page, write a natural paragraph about the product/information. Then head over to Automated Submission to Social Media Sites | OnlyWire and bookmark your site to get it reindexed.

    To get from page to page 1 - in a word PR page links - links on actual pages with PR. I did this for a keyword in my local SEO business - 1 week -page 2 to page 1

  • Great backlinks and video suggestion.. creating 10 2 mins (20 mins) is a very good idea! For sure it will give you a better pagerank.
