Hello Warriors,

and Holiday cheers!!!

I'm going to be driving most traffic I get from placing articles in directories and direct linking/redirecting them straight to my advertisers landing page...

For the purposes of this thread, I'm NOT looking for WEBSITE SEO, only
seo and KW phrase research for articles I place in directories

how will it differ from website SEO?

What is the best method or approach to conduct KW phrase research, and or SEO for those articles?

(PS; Things that I'm already aware of that will help, KW phrase in title of article, using KW phrase as anchor text, backlinking to SBM sites or other, selecting KW phrases that are not in direct competition with many high value PR sites)

thank you warriors!

Each database or online directory containing articles indexes those articles by using a database thesaurus. The keywords listed in the thesaurus are also used for queries and retrieving the relevant articles. To find out which keywords are suitable for indexing your articles, you should consult the thesaurus of that database. I also recommend you do a trial search on the different keywords you want to use for indexing your articles.
    I hope this helps!

P.S. if you give me the URLs of the directories you want to use for your articles then I'll be able to give you more concrete advice.

      thank barek,

Could use some more suggestions on SEO or KW research for articles placed in directories?

and just to reiterate, looking for "ranking the article in the directory specifically, I'm not looking for traditional "website SEO"

      your experience or thoughts?

      and holiday cheer!
