Is there a tool that can tell you which of your backlinks is most powerful, highest rankink etc.

  • A backlink from a high "page rank" page of a website is considered to be more powerful. You can use Scrapebox to check it.
  • The best backlinks are on pages that have high PR. Not the domain, but the actual page the backlink is on.
  • Last time I tried it, the SEO quake firefox plugin gave pr for the backlinks reported by yahoo site explorer.

    In explorer you want to click links, select Except this domain, Entire Site for best results.

  • Opensiteexplorer.com DA is a pretty good metric
  • Opensiteexplorer.org is very good. It also tells you which links are followed or nofollowed.
  • Yeah, Spyglass does this, but I wouldn't put much stock in the numbers, or those of any tool. Only the big G knows exactly how much weight each backlink carries.

    • I use Market Samurai for this. You can look at what sites other websites have linking back to them and then see what PR these sites are. All you have to do then is go to these sites and try to get them to link to your site by either leaving a comment on a blog or submitting an article.

  • Open site explorer gives you the 25 selected links which have more weightage.
