Hi there,

Just a fun and interactive thread on what YOU would do before launching a micro niche.

Would you check keywords over and over again? Would you use Market Samurai? Explain.

Let the fun begin

If I'm looking for micro-niches, they're generally part of a larger market I'm already in or looking at. So what I'm really looking for are under-served or ignored opportunities within a larger market.

If I can't find multiple opportunities within a niche, I keep moving...

I don't really do micro niche stuff anymore, but when I was I would look up keywords, look for secondary keywords, find multiple ways to approach the niche, then start the site. After starting the site, I would continue to target a wider array of keywords. This always worked pretty good for me as a start-up.

I think the trick is to not get obssessed with it, after all you can't change/shape the keyword searches or anything. Obsessing and being over compulsive is not a health habit, so just get prepared and enjoy that you're about to have a new site launch.

Micro Niche sites are fairly easy to rank as well so there isn't any reason to be stressing out over much.

I, as someone else already stated, do my keyword research throughly. When that's done, I basically choose a product to market and create the website which shouldn't really be that hard as micro-niches aren't often that competetive.

I also often create those kinds of websites within niches I'm already active in for easy, quality backlinks

I would make sure there is a way to monetize the microniche. You can put Adsense on any site but for maximum benefit it has to have relevant ads. Also is it a niche where people are going to click the Ads? I guess you'll only know that until you test it.
