Estimate my search traffic for a #1 listing Currently #8

Alright well the title says it all, how much traffic do you guys think i will be receiving for a #1 position in google, currently for the keyword i am ranked #8 and I am receiving almost 300 visitors a day! Can you believe it? Thats not all, i made it to #8 with a blogspot blog, and only 10 backlinks. This search term is brand new but is already HUGE and this is potentially my most profitable website ever because it also has a long list of products that convert at 20%. Im already seeing about 10 sales a day.

    Awesome, congrats. As a rule of thumb, you can generally expect to see around 50% of the total volume of searches for your keyword phrase if you have a #1 position. So if google keyword tool estimates around 10,000 searches/mo, you should be seeing around 5,000 come to your site. These are obviously just estimates and can be off a bit, but are usually pretty close.

    the blog is a blogspot blog and has absolutely non professional content that is not unique on it! I wish i could tell what the google keyword tool estimated it at, but since it is a brand new keyword they do not even have it. I looked at insights, and i compared my keyword vs another keyword i know gets 20,000 visitors a month. Insights showed the 20,000 a month keyword at 8, and the keyword im ranking for now at #1. Therefore i think i can estimate 250,000 searches a month, and i can easily rank #1.

    As for the backlinks? they were profile backlinks and blog comments and 2 copy and pasted articles to article directory's, as i said i was amazed when i looked and was ranking.

    Also since it is a blogspot blog, i can abuse it with tons of backlinks and not get knocked off the serps therefore making it even easier to rank #1, i can see this be a six digit website.

    And if it really is so new, how were you able to find articles for it that were not ranking higher than you in the SERPs?

      I actually used the articles from people that were ranking higher in the SERPS, when i made my website Ezine only had 1 article about the subject. So i essentially made an exact copy of the website ranking #3 for the keyword, and google then put them in the supplemental results and now i am ranking #6 instead of #8 as of today.

    I know, thats the only thing im scared of, is getting it deleted if that happens i will probably cry, because this truly will be a profitable website. I'm going to have to check all there rules and such to make sure i abide 100% by the rules.
