I've been using rankchecker.net to track rankings, and then keep a record of major changes in a spreadsheet.

Not as robust as a software solution, but it's free, and I try to spend more time working on my pages and less time worrying about when they move a space or two in either direction.

I just check them manually. You guys are doing the smarter thing though - this should save you time.
