Facebook Ads Geo-Gating?

I keep getting this message when trying to post an advert for my fan page. I tried choosing a few developed countries then narrowed down to UK only but it keeps saying the same error below-

"Advert targeting violates Page geo-gating -- This advert is targeted at viewers who cannot view the landing page. The page cannot be viewed in: United Kingdom, United States, Canada."

Any ideas why it's saying that and how I can resolve it to set up my ad?

    Geo-gating is new to me, what sketchy info I could find referencing it being used to maintain compliance with licensing, censorship or legal issues like gambling that only apply to certain regions. Do you have videos of US UK tv programming, or anything they might censor?

        Don't know if you're still having issues with this, but as this is the only result google throws up for the error I thought I best sign up and post the solution so others will hopefully benefit.

        I found by going to my page and "edit page", under country restrictions was a blank entry with a cross beside it, once I removed that the advert approved no problem.

    You have to double check your targeting and make sure you target the areas in which the product gives permission to do so as well as the age of your targeted prospects.

    Hope this helps, don't know much about it after that .
