Does changing hosting affects ranking?

Hey warrior's I had my site fluctuating between last position on first page and first position on second page, but since I have changed the hosting company ( i opted from ipower to hostgator).

My site is nowhere in google. What does this mean?

You just changed hosting accounts, right? Not the domain.

  Yaa... just the hosting and had to reinstall the platform and content because I didnt make the backup.
  So it changed the pages a bit.
  
  For example the thing that was on page 10 now is on page 12. thats it, content is the same though,

wat about the permalinks of inner page urls? look at them, if they are change you will experience drop in rankings..

its not make a problem that if you changed your hosting account , but there should be some problem with your domain name
