Google Pagerank is updating now?

Just noticed that all the sites that I've visited (even those that have high PR) displays PR n/a on SEOQuake, Quirk SearchStatus and Affilorama SEO Toolbar. It was also said that the schedule for the next PR update will range from Dec 25th - Jan 4th next year. So do you think the update is occurring at the moment? Not sure if it's just my browser that's showing unranked results.

Please do check your site's PR and of those that you know that have high PR to see if there were changes.

You may be right. One of six of my sites that I just checked is pagerank n/a. It used to be PR 7.

An update to the toolbar PR doesn't (or at least shouldn't) touch rankings at all.

Page rank updates on a daily basis 'behind the scenes', and this up-to-date PR is used to determine factors.

Then once every x months, Google export this data to the toolbar so that we can get a glimpse at the current PR our site is on.

(Of course, it then continues to update 'behind the scenes', so before long the toolbar PR is out of date again lol)

Google runs weekly updates that usually don't affect much. The week of 11/20 was different and nobody is talking about it. Who is going to believe anything anyone says unless some big Guru stands up and takes his turn to be the first one to announce old news all dressed up with a new product - fix on top.

The rest of the names follow by taking their turns in order. This time I bet they're planning a new revolutionary product that will neutralize the new page rank algorithm most people haven't even noticed unless you pay $100 to $800 a month in membership fees to stay ahead of the game.

Haven't you noticed even in the sandbox area you have to pay to play. Nobody tells anyone anything for free...except people like me who never learned how to play games in the Boardroom. That reminds me. You can get your own S3 Amazon Cloud Storage with everything included FREE for a whole YEAR. Just go to: aws.amazon.com and open up your own account in the cloud.

NOW, if you open your minds I'm betting you can rescue your page rank with a little experiment if you want to. Anyone interested? Am I Crazy? Not really. The same show has been playing for the past 10 years...it's time to change the channel and let everything go back to normal. DECADE ONE IS OVER TODAY. It's time to THINK and pay attention to what you don't hear more than what they want you to know.

When's the last time RealtimeAffiliates.com or BuildROI.com or OnDialog.com or Unbounce.com or KeywordCompetitor were promoted? What about NicheChoppers.com and the list goes on.

When you make at least $100+ per month, we split the profit 80/20 and YOU get the 80% Until then, you keep 100% and I'll help you drive traffic, get backlinks and put the domain in your name too!

Yes since Google came out with that new algorithm in June or July of 2010 it has been doing that. They say it is happening because Google is using 2 different cache files. 1 for the old algorithm and 1 for the new algorithm. And they are updating the the new 1 with the old cache file using the new algorithm specs.

Actually Google has many PR servers and during the update process each of them can give different PR value.
