Does anyone know why I can't download any of the Firefox Seo tools. Everytime I make the attempt I get an error message. Do you think it may have something to do with the xpi extension?

I agree, I've never had a problem with it. Worth a try.

I agree but I just add somthing that you have to check first the tool options. If anything wrong about it then make correction otherwise upgrade it.
      May be it helps.

Maybe its interfering with other plugins you've got. try uninstalling any plugins you've got

    Try this:

    Execute from the comand prompt
    Code:
    firefox.exe -profilemanager
If you do not know how to do this, go here: Creating a new Firefox profile on Windows - MozillaZine Knowledge Base
(if using mac/linux, run it from terminal)

Now create a new Firefox profile and install your addons. If it works, you have an extension/theme conflict. Transport all your data to the new profile.

In the next few weeks there is a new version of Firefox coming out, it may be built from the ground up so will have different code.

I would wait until the next version and instal it and then go for the addons.
