Google Keywords tool

I am new to the Google Keywords tool
Basically I know that the more Google charge for a specific keyword - the better higher comission I will get if the visitor click on such Ad
But, where can I find the actual $ amount that people have to pay in order to buy such keyword based Ad on Google adwords?

In the following screenshot you can see that I searched for the keyword "diamonds", I could not see the actual $ amount that one needs to pay for such keword
Any ideas?

  • Right under keyword tool there is "Traffic Estimator" Type your keywords in there and leave the other boxes blank. This will estimate your clicks and cost.

      I clicked on the traffic estimator and found what I was looking for!
      I do have another question: if the Estimated Avg. CPC is 2$, how much from that will I get as a commission?

  • Actually, if you click the Columns button in the upper-right, you can select "Estimated Avg. CPC" to be displayed, although they don't disclose the Adsense payout, leaked information indicates it's a little over 50%.
  • I believe it is supposed to be 50% or more. However, there's lots of other factors that determine what the click on your site is actually going to be worth when it gets logged in to you. It's not as straightforward as we'd like to think.
  • Adsense for content is 68% publisher share, and Adsense for search is 51%.

      If the advertisor paid Goolge 1$ for the click, and a visitor on my site clicked on the Ad, will I get 68 cents? or 32 cents?

      I got the point and could see the amount for each keyword.
      But this amount is just for the advertiser. As a publisher I will get 68% from that.
