How many of you article marketers don't research keywords?

I personally just write articles on the niche's I know information on.. I never keyword research, and have good results actually. I hear a lot about keyword research, but it's seems like a waste of time to me. I've tried it and it was such a pain finding a keyword.. Anyone else not do keyword research, just write?

    Write for the readers? You crazy!?

    I don't by the way....

    But I think writing and then going back and doing keyword research to put for the title is a must. You really need to have some good keywords in there if your trying to maximize traffic that is. If you are writing as a hobby then do whatever I guess.

    You won't succeed without doing some research. Going into something you have no prior knowledge about will hurt you dearly. Do you think some of the biggest and baddest websites don't do research? Preparing yourself will set you on a successful path most likely.
