I read somewhere that the pipe character used in the title tag-
example: keyword1 | keyword 2
Is NOT a good way to do title tages and that you should to do it like this
Example: keyword1, keyword 2

They said because the pipe character "|" is an invalid character and should not be used.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,
O

    Just use dashes -

That's my preferred method and the most widely used.

I really don't think this matters too much! As long as your subject matter is original and content rich!

I've always heard that you should use dashes in URL's for spacing between words but I've been noticing that Google is noticing and highlight URL's that use underscores instead of dashes so apparently it doesn't matter. I'm thinking that it's in Google's best interest to try to keep their software compatible with these different symbols including pipes in your title tag.
