I've been curious about this but keep forgetting to ask.

What's the percentage of a click we earn for an adsense click?

How does it work if it's not a percentage?

For example, if an advertiser paid $10 for a click that occured on my site, how much should I have earned for that click, vaguely?

I *think* we get 60%. I think I read that somewhere last week.

Found it. Publishers get 68% of what the advertiser paid for the click.

Until Google shows proof of their cut, you get what you get.

      We get 68% of what?
We get 68% of whatever the advertiser paid for the click. But the actual cost of those clicks is a big Google secret I guess.

That's half the battle anyways right?

If you use adwords you know what you pay for your placement. Until last year when google added the percentage info to everyone's adsense account the most common estimate given by experts was a 50-50 split. This is better.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.
