I have read this article from squidoo
i want to share it here...special for newbies

Article Marketing ~ add your link with keyword anchor text in your resource box. I also use Unique Article Wizard to distribute my articles to tons of directories ~ for tons of backlinks.

Forum Posts ~ add your link with keyword anchor text in your sig file

Blog Comments ~ keyword in the "name" area, and then your url. (will create a hot link with anchor text)

Comments at Ezine Articles ~ this one just occurred to me recently. I checked the source code and they do not appear to use the "no follow" attribute, so google should count these links. You may even get traffic from these too. I just enter my main keyword, and add a relevant comment to the article. I use this like I would a blog comment with my keyword in the name area and then my url. You have to wait for EZA to approve your comment, but it's worth it.

Set up Google Alert for keywords ~ each time I set up a new site I also set up a google alert for the keyword. I only choose to get alerts from blogs. Now each time someone posts a blog on my keyword I know about it and can get over there and add a comment.

Build free Blogs ~ Build a blog at wordpress.com, blogger, tumblr or wherever. You can do this blog on a related topic and add your site in the blogroll. This will give you a link for each page you publish on this blog. I use PLR for these blogs, and just change up the articles a little bit so they are more original. You can also add links within the articles to your blog for added links.

I didn't build these blogs expecting to get traffic from them, but I quickly started receiving traffic via the wordpress search function. So make sure your content is at least decent and you may find yourself getting more traffic as well as backlinks.

Hubpages and Squidoo ~ build pages at both of these free sites. Make sure to add a link to your site using keywords as your anchor text. At squidoo you can also add a link to your product or service you are promoting. Depending on how you want to use Hubpages I would be careful adding links to affiliate products over there. I just use hubpages as a way to get one more link from a quality source to my new niche site.

Zimbio ~ this site is new to me. I have used it for my squidoo lenses, by adding my lensmaster RSS feed url from Squid Utils it will post each new lens I write on Zimbio. You can do this with the RSS feeds for each of your sites, including your main niche site, as well as any free blogs you set up. Make sure to do this first so it will catch all your articles as you put them up.

Directory Submission~ there are tons of directories you can add your site url to. Here's a great list of directories you can get started with. (this site also has a huge list of social bookmarking sites and article directories) I set the timer for 30 minutes and just go as fast as I can submitting. I do this at least once a day for 30 minutes.

Some good ways of getting backlinks to a site are doing social bookmarking, social networking, article submission embedding site url in it, forum posting, blog commenting, etc. effectively to get good result out of that.

After I've watch the 24 hour traffic plan hosted by Paul Counts,

I consider myself as an expert in backlinking (self-proclaimed lol)

      Yeah it's true.

I just purchase the informational video the secret money ring.

Try to search that on google for only 1 dollar it really helps.

Try also Pad file submission that's another one way to create long term backlinks!

Links chasing and article marketing is OK, but it's not worth wasting time on.

If you write one "long and strong" post on your blog, and link from that post to 10-15 other posts you have, you have just created links that Google sees as more valuable than any article directory link or "lense" link.

It's a HUGE win when you do this, because you're also adding MORE content to your domain, AND creating dozens of links at the same time.

I see some of my niche competitors launching weak domains, and spending all their time creating links from third party domains. They hold their position(s) for awhile, and then very soon after that they're gone, or bounced back to the 3rd or 4th pages. Then they have to create more domains and start over.

One strong blog will always wipe out hundreds of half-assed blogs or sites that have hundreds of backlinks.

Just look at some of the domains that have dominated their niches for years - they often don't have much going for them in regards to inbound links. They have strong content and strong internal linking.

Overall, that is a pretty good list to get you started. But what separates the pro from the average site is that the pro will go the extra step and create link bait to get their visitors to repeat visit their site, and link to them naturally.

Something simple like a software app, a list of useful info that regularly gets updated, or even just some really helpful content that the visitor's find useful.

    Later,
    Jason

I've found that a lot of blog administrators will not approve your comment if you do this. They are happy to link to your site, but they specifically want a real name within the Name field.

Great tips, especially for a lot of the newbies here this stuff would be valuable.

Just remember than manual link building is usually the best because you get to customize each link to really squeeze the quality juice to your sites.

I know a lot of people who would disagree with this, and I do think automated methods work great, but doing thing manually (or hiring people to manually build links) can give you the most benefit as you can take advantage of different article directory guidelines, get higher approval rates of blog comments, etc.

Either way, this thread contains some great info.

I have to agree with dadamson on the building of backlinks manually, but I'm also one of those who thinks its important to have a mixture of manual backlinks, closely topic related links and a natural flow of links coming from around the world.

And just one other quick thought - Don't forget to have several authority outbound links off your site, to further enhance the SE love.

Article Directories - There are hundreds of them there, but the article directories, you should worry about is the top 10 directories. Writing articles is very important and we make a life full time, and it is 90% of our inbound link strategy. It is a technique that you do not want to reject.
