I just created a quite complex link wheel. This is my first link wheel ever and I test this kind of thing. There are many high PR blogs and other sources.

Is it good to ping and get pages ("hubs") indexed quickly or not ping them at all or ping 2 pages / a day...

Link wheel is effective other says its not I should say that it really depends on how they will use the method to improve its productivity in quality.
