I tried them but they really really sucked. Their links werent relevent and the payouts were terrible. Stay away from them. Build more backlinks and rank higher in Google and get the traffic to (hopefully) click on your adsense, you will make sooooo much more. I only focus on keywords that will pay $1-$2 or more from adsense. That way you will make more than a few pennies from every click.

I've never tried Infolinks, but the census is that they SUCK! Uber low CPC... Don't add Infolinks to an Adsense site, it will just take away from your earnings. Every Inforlinks click takes away from your Adsense getting clicked - Plus you don't want to give your visitors many options to click on besides your Adsense Ads.

The Adsense EPC will TRUMP the Infolinks ten fold... Easy.

      CHEERS!

Pay Per Click Advertising - In Text Ads for Websites by Infolinks
        Infolinks | Facebook
I use infolinks on one of my sites and I'm very happy with it. I'm going to get around to adding a couple more sites to the network.

Comparing side by side my adsense clicks to my infolinks clicks, I get a lot more clicks on the infolinks than I do on the adsense. Maybe this is because ppl have become accustomed to ignoring the sidebars filled with ads.

Over the course of the last 90 days, I have also matched the income from adsense with infolinks. I got more clicks with infolinks but the income over the 90 days were just about the same...only a few cents in difference.

BTW Tammy...how do you go about optimizing for in-text ads anyway?
A couple of direct tips and/or instruction would be very welcomed.

    Hi Tammy,
With any forum, there is always "opinions" - I was hopping for actual facts but anyway - I guess i will need to test out and rport back, as it seems no one has actually got any hard data.

Utilize the "Search" function Warrior Forum has provided you with. You're not getting much feedback because... No one wants to lose Adsense clicks and/or Affilitate link clicks to InfoLinks.

Or test it out on your site and come back in a month to tell me what I just told you.

If you're doing Adsense correctly for a Micro Niche... You don't want to give your viewers too many OUTBOUND click options... Besides your Adsense Ads. Too many links and images and a cluttered site will hurt your CTR.

I know this because I've built several Adsense sites - Not my source of income, simply testing the waters with different SEO tactics. I put Infolinks on a micro niche site that typically makes $15-$20/day from Adsense - Good traffic with lots of impressions. I would get anywhere from $1-1.50 per Adsense click. Adsense revenue was hit HARD due to adding Infolinks - I was getting .10-.18 per Infolinks click. Took away from the Adsense so it was dropped very quickly.

What i heard actually was that if you monetize website/s with only 2 methods like Infolinks/Kontera and AdSense, most people did not experience drop in AdSense earnings and come to conclusion that having Kontera/Infolinks to AdSense actually increases profits.

Infolinks really isn't that good. I've placed their ads on several of my sites and ended up with pennies. There's actually quite a few occasions where I didn't get paid anything for actual clicks. I guess it really does depend on the type of site.

I am using infolinks for one of my blog and not an unsatisfied user. Sometimes their cost per click is low but most of the time it is a fair amount. Anyway we should understand that infolinks is not like adsense. Both are different kind of ads and adsense is the best. I always recommend my friends to use adsense + infolinks + Chitika combination. After all it is not good to put all our eggs in a single basket.
