Backlinking to new Squidoo lens - Unlimited links okay?

The normal advice for new websites is that you don't want to get too many links too quickly because Google would consider it "unnatural". That is, new sites aren't supposed to have 250 links per day in it's first week of life, and if you did it it would be too obvious, and the spiders would just laugh at you for being stupid and naive.

But if you have a newly created Squidoo lens, would this not apply? Afterall, Squidoo has been around forever and your page/lens, though just newly created, wouldn't technically really be new since it is just part of a bigger and older entity. Is this a correct assumption?

In other words, if I have a new Squidoo lens, I can just go to the Warrior's For Hire Forum and pay $25 to have 1,000 links within the first week, and Google wouldn't see it as "unnatural" link building and would therefore give me credit for those links. Is this correct?

Will this also apply to hubpages, weebly, blogspot, and other?
