Onlywire Going PAY service

I've been Onlywire as a bookmarking service to submit to several social bookmarking sites simultaneously. I've used it consistently, but I've also submitted to different social bookmarking sites indiviudally. I don't know how much of an impact Onlywire submissions have had on my success with SERPs.

Now Onlywire has gone PAY. It costs $24.99 a year, OR you can add a link to them on every page you submit (kind of weird, because that means you can only submit your own content).

In your SEO expertise, is Onlywire worth $24.99 a year? I don't want their ads on all my content. Or, is there a more effective submission service for similar price?

Thanks for any information or opinions!

You can use SocialMarker. Its an alternative for onlywire. And i think its free.

    Ads? Subscriptions?

I'll pass OW and stick with BMD...

or even SocialMarker and the likes.

      Hi Hyaku_Man,

Here's another site you can use for free: socialposter.com
It's similar to socialmarker.com and has about 160 Social Bookmarking sites.

I just found onlywire last week so was unaware that they were free. Decided to pay the annual of $24.95. I was having quite a difficult time with socialmarker. Think it was an issue with my Mac.

Anyway, is it worth it? May be too early to give you an accurate response but so far, am loving the amount of time I have saved on onlywire.com.

      Best wishes to you.

Oh I didn't know onlywire costs now. And I thought you just had to include one link to their site. This is news to me I need to check it out again.

I really like socialmarker. It has the same 160 sites you can bookmark, but you can also filter only DoFollow sites.

But with socialmarker it just prepopulates the forms but you still have to submit to each manually right?

I checked and you only have to add one link to any one of your websites or blogs of choice. Just one link that's it!
