Complete 1st Page Domination with EZA etc.

I've noticed EZA, Articlebase, Buzzle, Searchwarp and Helium (but I never submit to them as I have a feeling they are against promotional websites? :confused are by far the best ranking article directories and usually dominate page 1 or 2 for many keywords. Right now I only submit to EZA, but I figured that if I could submit an article to all article directories, I can easily dominate the first page.

Yet, the roadblock here is, most of these article directories want fresh, unique content. Is it even possible for me to submit the SAME article to all of them? I hate re-writing as it takes a lot of time. Usually I'm content if I can write 8-10 articles in a day, still is a lot of work. Re-writing isn't even an option if I'm up to my ears in work.

Another thing worth mentioning here is; I'm pretty sure with great SEO and backlinks and decent competition every article can reach the 1st page pretty easily (still testing this yet) especially on how to make articles stick.

What do you think guys, am I allowed to submit the SAME article to all of the above directories?

    Have you tried guest blogging?

Write a nice unique article and submit it to someone's site that has authority and a nice high pr and your article will rank number 1 and blow all those article directories out of the water.

And you may not even need to back link it at all to take the top spot in the search engines due to the power of the site you put your article on.

    Good Luck,
    Jason

What is a great program to spin articles? Anything free out there? Most of them are junk and I don't think paid solutions are better.

Also, it's not that I don't like writing. It's just taking up too much of my time. 10 articles is already a fulltime job, as I really want my articles to be well written and have some good, valuable information in it. I don't crank out articles in 15 minutes, more like 1 in one hour.

    Katya,

The best article spinner on the market right now is "The Best Spinner". It updates synonyms from all of the members, so you have a huge list.

If you would like for me to spin an article for you, I don't mind. Just send me an article or hit me up on skype - yourwebsitesource and I will do one for you free of charge so you can see what it does.

There are quite a few other products on the market for article spinning, but honestly I have tried them and none of them really compare. The Best Spinner has an auto replace button and easy spin mode which takes me not very long to spin and then proof read the article.

Let me know if you want one spun.

Thank you for your suggestion guys, yet I've been checking this thread below and as always, Alexa Smith left a superb written reply, saying duplicate content is really not an issue so I can freely distribute my content to other article directories (although some of them DO actually want unique content, but not all of them).

As it is as she says, it means I don't really have to waste my time on re-writing content or spinning my articles.

        She is completely right.

        That is a myth!

I suggest you also reading Bill Platt's thread about the "duplicate content penalty" myth.

I don't remember exactly the thread title.

You can submit the same article but I think Google will not appreciate it.
If you want to get 1st position, I suggest you do some link building and promote your article, doesn't matter which directory you prefer, just keep building incoming links to get on the first page and grab top ranking.
Instead of submitting multiple version, invet time/money on link building.
    That's how I see it.

    Katya,
You are probably fine submitting the same content but at a minimum I would change 2 items:

1 - The article title - target the same keyword phrase but change the article title just a bit.

2 - The opening paragraph and closing paragraph.

The reson I recommend making those 2 changes is because while we do want to dominate the first page results for a keyword phrase you don't want it looking like the same article is doing all the dominating.

This has more to do with the actual visitor and not the search engines. If a visitor notices the same article dominating the first page then there is no reason to click on it more then once even if it is on a different website.

By changing your article title you create the appearance of providing different content so the visitor is more apt to click on another one of your articles. By changing the paragraphs you provide a different summary to appear so again, it looks like a different article to the visitor.

It is a bit of smoke and mirrors which is something I'm not real fond of but, as long as you provide quality content in your articles and the visitor is able to obtain value from the article then consider it mission accomplished.

Providing visitor value is what it is all about regardless of any duplicate content myth.

    Respectfully,
    Tim

Tricky, yet very smart. Plus, there is never a guarantee that I will outrank my competitor but it's still a great technique to try just in case I do so.

If you use a spinner, free or paid, (I personally like the best Spinner because I find it easy to work with) instead of just doing synonyms replacement, rewrite each sentence, then do some synonym replacement, you will get a lot more articles that actually sound different.

There is some time involoved in doing it this way, but the amount of material you get that you cna use in various ways is amazing.

Then if you make some changes like Tim G says, you will not only not have dupe content, it won't even look like it to most people.

I'd definitely agree that the best spinner is top-notch. I use it myself....although not free it is very worth the price. I think it's like 77.00/yr or something of that sort.

Buzzle is the stickler. What I do is post to my blog....depending on how often my site gets indexed is how long I wait to post to EZA....Then I spin it once and post to Buzzle and then I just post the original or spin it to the rest of the directories. The issue is EZA and Buzzle. Google really doesn't care about duplicate content it simply cache's pages once it realizes that the content is duped and gives the rights to the most authoritative site with the content on it aka the oldest site which is typically your blog.

    Hope that helps,

    don

      Hi,

I don't use article marketing because I focus on other ways to market online. But here is one test I done in the past . . .

In regards to, do you need to spin your article to get them to rank on same page?

      Answer: NO!

I have an identical article in 8 out of top 10 positions on first page for a certain keyword.

      I didn't spin anything.

These rankings have been up over 2 years and they still are dominating page one.

Of course, you are only going to dominate page one if the competition is weak. With tough competition you need to back link your articles to rank.

      Take care,
      Jason

Katya, you did not say that you wanted to submit duplicate content to ezine, you were talking about dominating the front page of Google.

If there is a penalty for duplicate content is something you will have to judge for yourself, but I will guarantee you that you will never find the first page in Google for any keyword to be all the same articles on different article directories.

Anyways, Good Luck with your project.
