How long did it take you to get to earning $3,000 a month from adsense?

How many sites do you own?

How many pages do they have?

Do you outsource?

Its a very difficult to earn $ 3000 per month.. You will earn but for that you have minimum 300 to 400 blog all are different at that time you can easily earn.

I have been blogging since 6 years but still I am not getting more than $100. I don't know how to get more than this small amount by adsense.I have been posting regularly on my blog every week and the content is also good but I can't understand the Google's policies.Is there anybody who can tell me how to maintain a blog so that I can also earn more than $3000.
There are some persons I know them , they are earning around $1500 a month from their blog but they don't tell secrets to any body.I am maintaining three blogs one is on cooking, another is on travel, another is miscellaneous. If any body can tell me how to maintain a blog in right way then it will be a help for me.But I like blogging it is my hobby since 6 years since than i am following this.I blog because I like blogging.

Its been 3 months since I got into Internet Marketing, as far as adsense goes I have about 10 adsense sites (5 I bought last night), from the first 5, only 1 has gotten to the first page of google and is making around $4-7 a day. It took this site 28 days to get to the 3rd position (around 20k searches per month, the rest are all 30k to 50k so I can't wait til those start ranking) The rest will also get to the first position pretty easily because I did tons of keyword research, but it is just a matter of time for the SERPS to udpate. I plan on selling that one soon for $1000 or so after I have 2 months of adsense history to show proof of revenue, and am going to place the money into other investments and ventures I am have. I have tended to focus on projects that don't need a lot of maintenance because I have med school applications coming up, and can't waste time maintaining sites.

  Hello, if I said that backlinks were your ticket to freedom and a nice variety, would you believe me? I think there is a bit of confusion with the traffic methods people use who make a nice living from regular se traffic. Having a broad amount of keywords ranked in G is the key also.
  
  You can type great content until your fingers go numb, if there are no backlinks to your site drawing votes in, then you will need to do some basic seo.

$3000 a month through AdSense is huge. It would take either an extremely popular blog or site, or literally hundreds (if not thousands) of smaller sites.

Not true at all.

One of my blog gets no more than 1000 page views in a month and nearly made $200 last month.

I'd only need 15 blogs to reach $3,000 a month.

Yea this, I literally have some of the stupidest topics for my niche sites. If you knew what they were you would laugh. I have less than 5 sentences of unique content and I am making around $100 per month from my first one,(I made 7 more adsense sites since then which are still ranking) and it gets around 700 pageviews per month. The site took me no more than 40 minutes to make, installing wordpress and all the plugins included. I have never touched it since, besides trying out different ad positions to see which ones work better, and just building links.

- submit articles to blog
- ping articles at ping.fm and pingomatic.com

This is not true... Im earning 1500$/month with 10 sites. Each site has only 2 add blocks (big square and link unit)
I could do even better with them, just need some time to backlink other sub pages...
