Hi all, I'm just getting started with SEO for my website and would appreciate any feedback on my site, please.

http://store.ijdmtoy.com

I am working on both the on page and off page SEO myself and I want to hire the warriors to help me accomplish this.

Appreciate any on page SEO anyone would kindly offer and any general pointers pls.

I am currently working on the following keywords:

LED bulbs
LED lights
Car LED Lights
LED underbody lights
HID Conversion Kits

and so far about 6 months, I can already see Car LED lights and LED underbody lights on the first or second pages and what else I need to work on to get this site better.

My main competitor is superbrightLEDs.com

Site looks pretty good! You have a nice amount of backlinks and a couple thousand indexed pages! Nice! I didn't really look too in-depth into the site, but I am bored so I ran your keywords to see how you fair... Probably nothing you don't already know though.

I didn't check the anchors for your backlinks, but something tells me if you focus on that a little bit more you'll rank better.

Hey Mike & Sonic74! Thanks for the kind words!!

I just did a quick look-up of the information ilovejdmtoy provided in the OP.

SEO Book Rank Checker add-on for Firefox (free)
Rank Checker - Track Google, Yahoo! Search, & Bing Rankings Free

        Traffic Travis (free version)
Free SEO Software | The Best PPC & SEO Management Tool -Traffic Travis

That's it! The screen shot you see with the 20 URLs listed out is the SEO Analysis tab in Traffic Travis. I've found this to be pretty accurate when look for some quick numbers and helpful when choosing keywords to target.

I downloaded and install Traffic Travis. I am pretty confused by the results. Backlinks seem to not include Storm8 forums and page rank seems to be wrong. When I did a search myself to compare it wasn't anywhere near what the application was saying.

          Any additional thoughts? Thanks.

That's weird... The results traffic travis gives me are pretty close to what I pull up in the SERPs.

I don't use it that often... Majority of the time I just flip on SEO Quake (Firefox Add-on) refresh the search page and Generate Parameters. That's my main tool! But it's easier to take a screen shot of Traffic Travis :p

What are your Keywords (you can PM me if you want).

@ilovejdmtoy: Car LED lights - page ONE not bad!
Below is a screen shot of what SEO Quake will generate on the SERP pages.

Wow, thanks a lot for your help.

So you are saying, I should focus on one keyword first?

I am picking the LED bulbs, how do you think about this?

P.S. Which keyword software are you using? Looks awesome!

"LED Bulbs" would be a very good keyword to choose to rank for.
6600 Exact Local Monthly searches - Which is good. If you notice in the screen shot, "LED Bulbs" is your #1 two-word keyword. Good density - In T, K, D. Etc.

You rank #59 for that search term in Google... BUT... Good news. It shouldn't be very hard to rank on page ONE. Here's your Competition:

I just plugged your terms into SEOBook Rank Checker FireFox Add-On. SEOQuake Add-On for Keyword Density and a bunch of other site stats. And the free version of Traffic Travis. A couple tools in the arsenal :p

      CHEERS!

P.s. If I helped hit THANKS! I want some thanks! LOL!

Just make sure the ANCHOR TEXT for your backlinks is LED Bulbs! Put it in your Warrior Forum Signature... Other forums you frequent as well. I would suggest just do the standard Off-Site Optimization (backlinking):
      • Submit Articles to article directories - Doesn't have to be about lights, could be about anything. I'll submit the same damn article to 20 different directories (I just want some backlinks, I'm not into Article Marketing)!
      • RSS Feed submissions - Title everything accordingly. (link2rss.com)
      • Blog Commenting is always a big one. example "Joe @ LED Bulbs" for name... I've been using Scrapebox for this and have simply been finding AutoApprove blogs and using ONLY my keywords as the name - a perfectly anchored backlink.
      • Social Bookmarking - Title accordingly. (ping.fm onlywire.com)
      • Google Alerts - set it up for keywords your targeting... Can come in extremely handy.
      • Answering questions on Yahoo! Answers and AOL Answers.
      • Lame Forum Profile Backlinks seem to work for a lot of people... Or so they say.
      • You could always purchase a couple blogroll links.
      • Submit your site to directories - Title accordingly.
I don't know... Obviously I could go into A TON more detail but am at work :p These are just a couple of standard ways to build backlinks. I mean you could create free blogs on zillions of sites that allow you to do so and backlink that way too. I'm too lazy to do that There's a lot you can do.

I personally keep a .txt file with all the URLs I've created backlinks so that I can ping and meta index those URLs. IMO it helps the SERPs find more of your backlinks faster.

Oh and I almost forgot... Grab your competition and find where their backlinks are coming from! Reverse engineer what they've done to get where they are!

Keep in mind my friend, you may be able to rank for 'LED bulbs', but will it make any money? That's the question.

That is not, by any means, a buying keyword.

In order to turn your visitors into buyers, or QUALIFIED adsense traffic, you must be able to identify more precisely what your traffic wants.

Someone who types in 'led bulbs' could be looking for anything, and most of them have nothing to do with 'buying' :

    • how led bulbs work
    • what are led bulbs
    • how much are led bulbs
    • led bulbs for vehicles
    • replacement led bulbs << might be a buyer keyword but these are just things people might be actually looking for when they type that in
    • pictures of led bulbs
    • etc
So, that being said, putting too much effort into ranking for the wrong keywords can lead to lots of frustration.

If you wanted something along those lines, and actually make good money, you have to dig a little deeper into that topic, examples of more specific terms people might be searching for that may be willing to spend money
    • cheap led bulbs
    • led bulbs (with a size, a particular necessity)
    • replacement headlight led bulbs for ...
    • car led lights
    • red led headlight bulbs
    • Chevy Tahoe led bulbs
    • long-lasting led bulbs for ...
    • led bulbs that ...
    • etc.
See the second set of keywords, although they likely receive less traffic, are terms people are typing in when they 'need' or 'want' something specific that they might want to buy.

The term 'led bulbs' in itself is way to broad of a topic. If you target a keyword like that, you should have lots of related content about more specific topics so you can turn these visitors into buyers, because otherwise people are just going to leave your site and search again, for something more specific.

    Make sense?

So what I would do, with your site, is focus on targeting specific terms. Not only will they bring more targeted leads to your site, but it's far less work than trying to target a keyword phrase that is so broad.

Your site looks good, and I would take advantage of the variety of content you have there and keep targeting specific searches.
